MITSUBISHI: 2014 Outlander – The Outlander has taken on a dramatic new design that puts futuristic as a theme for Mitsubishi. A new version of the MIVEC engine is under the hood of this all new large crossover that transports seven. Safety features abound including available forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning systems.
FIAT: 2014 500e – Fiat dumps the 1.4-liter gas engine to make room for a 100-horsepower battery operated electric vehicle that includes a new sleek look, a redesigned front end including an accent color on the redesigned lower front fascia and low front lip, and body character marks by the rear tires. On the inside, aside from a bright color scheme, the most interesting item is a push-button transmission selector. Like many EV’s the 500e is expected to be a limited edition built to meet California’s regulations for zero-emission vehicles.
